Before I get started with this weeks tip, I want to give a few updates for last weeks article

-I was wrong about the free transfer tool from MS. It will not move your applications over – only data. From comments made to me by readers, it is not very good at that either.

-A nice person from Microsoft dropped me a note to say that even though automatic updates won’t be available for Windows XP – they still use it to update Office. If you have MS Office with XP, you will want to get past that nag screen and fire up automatic updates again.

This week I came across an informative webinar from Veeam. It is called “Max security check list for the virtual environment”

It is just under an hour long, and it is for VMWare:

They are pushing Veeam, and Trend Micro technologies – but if you can look past that there are some good nuggets of info in there.
