Last weekend I pulled out an old utility that I have used for years.
I wanted to check on my Raspberry PI that I used in this project:

What did I need to check? I forgot the IP address 🙁
Just wanted to see if the thing was still surviving outside in subzero temperatures.
I pulled out this old utility, called the Angry IP Scanner.
It has my favorite qualities. It consists of 1 exe, and the exe itself is less than 150KB
It does one job, and one job well – scanning your network for live machines.
Since it pre-dates Vista you will need to make sure you right click on it to run it as an administrator.
There is a newer version written in Java, but that makes it difficult to run from a USB flash drive.

I do like your utilities such as
ISOToolkit.zip, cscript.exe delete_profile_temp.vbs
and the ipscan221.exe.
Chrome blocked this, stating it is malicious. Why would it do that?
It does this because it is considered a ‘hacking’ tool. Not that it is a virus, or malware, but that you could use it to do hacking. Quite ridiculous if you ask me.
Symantec does block it too…look at this thread from 2007 that explains why:
