Before I talk about the free E-Book…I want to thank everyone who subscribed to our remote support beta. This beta is just a start, over the weeks and months we will be adding:

-File Transfers

-Chat

-Remote Command Line

-Ability to add registered computers, so you can get to a computer any time

If you support users remotely, you definitely should check it out. For a limited time we are offering a special price that will be locked in for 1 year after the final release.

This week I came across a free E-Book from Microsoft. It is called “Windows 8: An Overview for IT Professionals”

It is about 140 pages long. The book does a great job of explaining many of the new ways of doing things in Windows 8.

If you think you might be deploying it any time soon in your organization, this is a perfect way to get your head around the changes in Windows 8.

For a limited time you can download it for free.

Here is the download link:

Hi Steve,

Just subscribed to the remote control online. Love it so far.

Any timeline as to when I can add computers so users don’t have to put in a code?

Not sure exactly yet, but the development track is the same as our Enterprise edition product….so it should be before the end of the year.
