Microsoft has announced they are giving away the Windows 2008 Terminal Services book in PDF format.

Windows 2008 Terminal Services

I downloaded it yesterday, and it is packed with information.

A must-have if you are considering implementing, or have implemented terminal services on your network. A few top points from the book:

-Using roaming profiles with Terminal Services

-Locking down the terminal server

-Publishing applications

-Monitoring user sessions

-Multi Server Deployments

Thanks for the link Steve. I can’t believe they are giving the entire book away. I have been looking through it and it looks like a great resource for 2008 terminal server deployments.

Free is always good. Any idea if this book talks about the previous versions of Terminal Services, or is it just for 2008?

Just from what I have looked at so far I would say it is primarily for 2008.

Grrr. Looks like Microsoft pulled the offer. The PDF is no longer available :(
